関西電力、電気料金の過大徴収は492万件 経産省に報告書提出

関西電力は29日、今月公表した電気料金の過大徴収について、対象の契約が約492万件だったと発表した。主に一般家庭向けで、過大徴収分は「可能な限り早期に」返還する。同日、経済産業省に再発防止策を盛り込んだ報告書を提出した。当初は過大徴収した契約件数を最大で約714万件と説明していたが、調査の結果、220万件超減った。過大徴収額は大半の契約が1カ月当たり最大1円で、総額1400万円。

関電、美浜原発3号機を再び停止 配管弁周辺で水漏れ

関西電力は18日、調整運転中の美浜原発3号機で、放射性物質を含まない配管の弁の周辺から水漏れが確認され、運転を停止したと発表した。運転再開時期は未定で、環境への影響はないとしている。関電によると、17日午後3時45分ごろ、目視点検中の社員が配管の空気抜き弁周辺の保温材から水滴漏れを確認した。原子炉の運転に影響はないものの、18日午前4時ごろに手動で停止した。

関西電力、電気料金を過大徴収 影響額約1400万円

関西電力は17日、電気料金の基となる原価の算定を誤り、2024年4月以降、一般家庭向けなど規制分野の電気料金を過大に徴収していたと発表した。影響額は約1400万円で、1契約につき1カ月最大1円と見込んでいる。電気料金を巡っては、中部電力も今月10日に過大徴収を発表しており、その影響額は少なくとも12億円程度とされる。関電は「ご心配をおかけし、おわび申し上げる」と述べ、返還方法などを検討している。

関西電力、企業向け電気料金を11月から10～15％値上げ

関西電力は19日、企業向けの電気料金を11月から引き上げると発表した。物価上昇により発電施設の修繕費などが高騰しているためで、上げ幅は標準モデルで10～15％程度。企業向けの電気料金単価を引き上げるのは2015年4月以来11年半ぶりとなる。新料金は11月1日以降の新たな契約から適用され、スーパーや商業施設などで使われる業務用や、工場向けなどの産業用が対象となる。

洋上風力、英BP撤退で逆風続く　政府は支援拡大し引き留め

洋上風力発電事業で、山形県遊佐町沖の事業者に選定された企業連合から英石油大手BPが離脱を検討していることが明らかになった。世界的なインフレによる建設コストの高騰が背景で、丸紅や関西電力、東京ガスなど残る企業で事業は継続する見通しだが、他海域の事業者からは連合からの撤退ドミノを警戒する声が上がっている。政府は昨年2月のエネルギー基本計画で風力発電の電源構成比率を40年度に4～8％程度に高める方針を掲げたが、三菱商事を中心とする連合がコスト増を理由に千葉・秋田両県沖の3海域から撤退するなど逆風が続く。経済産業省は長期脱炭素電源オークションへの参加拡大や収入保証の上限額引き上げなど資金支援を強化し、事業者の引き留めを図る。
