It offers deposit accounts such as checking, savings, money market, and time deposits, along with lending services including commercial, residential, and consumer loans. The company also provides treasury management, wealth management, and digital banking platforms. Formerly known as SouthState Corporation, it changed its name to SouthState Bank Corporation in September 2025. Founded in 1933, it is headquartered in Winter Haven, Florida.
