Safety Insurance Group, Inc. provides private passenger and commercial automobile, and homeowner insurance in Massachusetts, United States. The company offers private passenger automobile policies covering bodily injury and property damage, no-fault personal injury coverage, and physical damage coverage for the insured's own vehicle. It also provides commercial automobile policies for business vehicles including trucks, tractors, and trailers, as well as homeowners policies for homes, condominiums, and apartments. Additionally, it offers business owners policies, personal umbrella policies, dwelling fire insurance, commercial umbrella, inland marine coverage, and watercraft coverage. The company was formerly known as Safety Holdings Inc and changed its name to Safety Insurance Group, Inc. in April 2002. It was founded in 1979 and is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts.
