Merit Medical Poised for Growth on Strong Portfolio and Innovation

Merit Medical Systems is well-positioned for growth driven by its diversified product portfolio and continued R&D investment. The company launched the Resilience Through-the-Scope Esophageal Stent in the first quarter of 2026 and acquired View Point Medical, adding the OneMark Detection Imaging System and Tissue Markers to complement its SCOUT platform, which management believes expands its oncology addressable procedure opportunity roughly threefold. Merit Medical also reaffirmed its commercial strategy for the WRAPSODY Cell-Impermeable Endoprosthesis, expecting approximately $7 million in U.S. revenues in 2026. However, the company faces headwinds from tariffs, which management expects to remain a drag on profitability in 2026, and ongoing pricing pressure from China's volume-based procurement program. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for second-quarter 2026 revenues is $404.7 million, implying 5.81% growth, while the EPS estimate of 96 cents suggests a 4.9% decline from the prior year.
