Life360 Upgraded to Zacks Rank #2 as Analysts Raise Earnings Estimates

Life360 has been upgraded to a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy) after analysts raised their earnings estimates, signaling improved expectations for the company's financial performance. The upgrade comes alongside the company's Q2 2026 result, which showed revenue of US$158.96 million and net income of US$5.06 million, with full year 2026 revenue guidance reaffirmed at US$650 million to US$685 million. Life360's narrative projects $1.0 billion in revenue and $148.3 million in earnings by 2029, requiring 21.5% yearly revenue growth and about a $1.0 million earnings increase from $147.3 million today. The most optimistic analysts see Life360 reaching about US$1.2 billion in revenue and roughly US$154.1 million in earnings, assuming advertising-driven growth continues despite rising privacy and regulatory risks. The upgrade does not materially change the central risk that free, integrated tracking from Apple, Google, and Samsung could pressure Life360's pricing power and user growth.

Life360 Stock Plunges 25.7% After Unchanged Guidance Disappoints

Life360 shares tumbled 25.7% after the company reported second-quarter results and left its full-year profitability and revenue guidance unchanged. Revenue rose 38% year-over-year to $159 million, with international growth of 45% outpacing a 25% domestic increase, while GAAP earnings fell to $0.06 per diluted share from $0.08 a year earlier. The company is accelerating its exit from hardware sales, lowering that segment's full-year revenue target, but raised the midpoint of its subscription revenue range to $477.5 million from $472.5 million. Investors had expected another guidance lift after the company boosted targets three months ago, and the unchanged outlook, combined with the declining hardware business, fueled the sell-off. CFO Russell Burke noted that an ongoing transition to AI-native operations should begin to deliver benefits in 2027 and beyond.
