Boise Cascade Company manufactures and sells engineered wood products and plywood, and distributes building materials wholesale in the United States and Canada. It operates in two segments: Wood Products and Building Materials Distribution. The Wood Products segment makes laminated veneer lumber and beams, I-joists, plywood panels, and ponderosa pine lumber and boards. The Building Materials Distribution segment distributes building materials such as oriented strand boards, plywood, lumber, siding, composite decking, doors and millwork, metal products, insulation, and roofing, as well as engineered wood products. Products are marketed to dealers, home improvement centers, wholesalers, specialty distributors, and industrial converters through warehouse and direct sales. The company was incorporated in 2004 and is headquartered in Boise, Idaho.
