Purple Innovation lowers FY2026 revenue guidance to $420M-$440M, forecasts $20M-$25M adjusted EBITDA

Purple Innovation has lowered its fiscal 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $420 million to $440 million, down from its prior outlook of $465 million to $485 million, while forecasting adjusted EBITDA of $20 million to $25 million. The company cited continued softness in the mattress category, particularly in its wholesale channel, where second-quarter revenue fell 19.1% to $37.4 million. Direct-to-consumer revenue rose 3.4% to $60.9 million, and total net revenue declined 6.5% to $98.3 million. Purple also revised its gross margin target to approximately 45% due to a reclassification of credit card and financing fees, and it took pricing actions in June to offset commodity and logistics inflation. The company ended the quarter with $23.3 million in cash and positive operating cash flow for the second straight quarter.
PRPL · Capital · Negative Company lowered FY2026 revenue guidance and reported a 6.5% decline in total net revenue, citing softness in the mattress category.

Purple launches Netforge, a free WiFi engineering toolkit with 19 browser-based tools

Purple has launched Netforge, a free suite of 19 browser-based tools for WiFi network planning, deployment, and debugging. Available now at no cost with no sign-up and no data retention, the toolkit consolidates utilities that engineers typically pay a subscription for or assemble from scattered open-source projects into a single browser-based console. The tools span six categories including IP addressing, DNS, WiFi deployment, connectivity, security, and general utilities, and are vendor-agnostic, working alongside networks from Cisco Meraki, HPE Aruba, Ruckus, and Juniper Mist. Designed for both technical and non-technical users, Netforge runs entirely locally in the browser and stores nothing, allowing use on client sites and secure networks without sending data to third parties. The toolkit is built by the same team behind Purple's guest WiFi, captive portals, and location analytics.

Purple WiFi data reveals World Cup fans arrive early, stay late, and surge online at full-time

New data from guest WiFi specialist Purple shows that during the FIFA World Cup 2026, fans across the United States are arriving early, staying late, and reaching for their phones at every break in play. Drawing on live session data from 818 venues across the host cities, Purple found that logins begin to spike two hours before kickoff and surge again at full-time, with a quarter of all logins landing two hours after kickoff. At one major host-city stadium operating at full capacity, more than 70,000 fans generated visible login spikes at hydration breaks, half-time, and full-time. The busiest matchday at that stadium came when the USA played, drawing around 8,000 connected fans, compared to between 4,500 and 5,400 for matches between other nations. Los Angeles recorded the biggest match-day uplift in venue WiFi use, with connections up 171 percent, followed by Miami with a 78 percent increase. Purple projects that total fan connections across the 39-day tournament window will reach 573,000, up from 400,000 in the 30 days before the tournament.
PRPL · Demand · Positive Article highlights strong fan engagement and WiFi usage data, indicating high demand for Purple's services during World Cup.
