Optex Systems Holdings, Inc. manufactures and sells optical sighting systems and assemblies, primarily for the U.S. Department of Defense, foreign military applications, and commercial and consumer markets in the United States. Its products include periscopes, vision blocks, sighting systems, howitzer components, and applied optics such as laser interference filters, optical assemblies, reticles, and thin film coatings. These products are installed on U.S. military land vehicles including the Abrams and Bradley fighting vehicles, light armored and advanced security vehicles, and the Stryker family of vehicles. The company sells directly to the federal government, prime contractors, and foreign governments. Founded in 1987, it is headquartered in Richardson, Texas, and is a subsidiary of Sileas Corporation.

Optex Systems announced Thursday it won a $2.79 million contract for laser filter units linked to the XM157 Next-Generation Fire Control Scope, with deliveries scheduled from January 2027 through October 2027.
