FTSE 100 closes up 0.91% on HSBC buying

European stocks climb as Dow Jones hits new high

3i Group announced that its portfolio company Action achieved like-for-like sales growth of 3.3% year to date as of the end of week 25. Action is on track for a good quarter of profit growth and held a cash balance of 699 million euros as of 21 June 2026, following a 450 million euros dividend payment to shareholders in May.
