Its offerings include deposit account programs such as consumer and small business checking accounts, network-branded reloadable prepaid debit and gift cards, and secured credit programs, as well as money processing services including cash transfer and disbursement services. The company also provides tax processing services, such as tax refund transfers, small business lending to independent tax preparation providers, and fast cash advance. Green Dot Corporation was incorporated in 1999 and is headquartered in Provo, Utah.

Green Dot and CommerceOne shareholders approve acquisition of Green Dot

Green Dot and CommerceOne shareholders have voted to approve the pending acquisition of Green Dot.
