Calidi Biotherapeutics Gets NYSE American Compliance Warning, Stock Rises
Calidi Biotherapeutics announced on Friday that it received a NYSE American compliance notice for failing to meet the exchange's $4M minimum stockholders' equity requirement. The notice has no immediate impact on trading, and the stock will continue trading on NYSE American, though with a ".BC" below-compliance designation. The company must submit a compliance plan by Oct. 21, 2026, and has until March 21, 2028, to regain compliance. If the plan is rejected, not submitted, or the company fails to make sufficient progress, NYSE American could begin delisting proceedings. Despite the warning, the stock traded nearly 4% higher at ~$1.17 in the after-hours trading session.
