The company offers fire protection solutions, electronic security systems, and elevators and escalators, including design, installation, inspection, service, and monitoring of life safety systems for end markets such as high tech services, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, fulfillment and distribution centers, and critical infrastructure. It also provides specialty contracting, fabrication and distribution, and infrastructure and utility services to critical infrastructure, high tech services, and healthcare end markets. The company was formerly known as J2 Acquisition Limited and changed its name to APi Group Corporation in October 2019. It was founded in 1926 and is headquartered in New Brighton, Minnesota.

APi Group Closes Evergreen Fire and Security Acquisition, Expects $55 Million in Annual Revenue

APi Group Corporation has closed its acquisition of Evergreen Fire and Security, a Tacoma, Washington-based systems integrator founded in 2000 with more than 25 years of experience in electronic security and fire life safety solutions. The deal expands the electronic security capabilities of APi's North American Safety business, adding technical expertise and a more complete suite of service offerings, and Evergreen is expected to contribute approximately $55 million in annual revenue while being accretive to APi's "10/16/60+" shareholder value creation framework. President and Chief Executive Officer Russ Becker said Evergreen is an excellent cultural fit with a talented team and long-standing customer relationships, calling the acquisition a meaningful step toward adding electronic security expertise and scale to the North American Safety business. Becker also said first-half momentum carried into the third quarter, increasing confidence in the third-quarter and full-year outlook, and that APi has deployed $1.7 billion of capital year-to-date, including bolt-on and platform acquisitions, investments in the business, and $250 million of opportunistic share repurchases, with $750 million remaining under its current authorization. APi Group is a global business services company with more than 600 locations in over 20 countries, and in 2026 it is celebrating its 100-year anniversary and its debut on the Fortune 500.
