Guangzhou Lingnan Group Holdings Company Limited, together with its subsidiaries, operates in the tourism business across China, Hong Kong, Macau, and internationally. Its activities include hotel operations and management, travel agency operations, car rental services, and the production and sale of papermaking and packaging testing equipment. The company was formerly known as Guangzhou Dongfang Hotel Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Guangzhou Lingnan Group Holdings Company Limited in June 2015. Incorporated in 1993, it is based in Guangzhou, China.

Lingnan Holdings posts first-half profit of 56.4263 million yuan, up 13.93% year on year

Lingnan Holdings released its 2026 semi-annual report, showing first-half operating revenue of about 2.236 billion yuan, up 7% year on year, and net profit attributable to the parent of about 56.4263 million yuan, up 13.93% year on year. Among its units, subsidiary GZL achieved operating revenue of about 1.632 billion yuan, up 6.27% year on year, but net profit attributable to the parent was about 23.1906 million yuan, down 3.71% year on year, mainly because the construction of a nationwide distribution network and the establishment of new operations centers increased costs. The accommodation business saw revenue and net profit rise 9.04% and 14.43% year on year respectively, with more than 50 newly signed projects and a strong performance in property operations. In addition, Lingnan Holdings announced two transactions: GZL plans to sell a 100% stake in GZL Exhibition Company for 12.5219 million yuan, and will transfer the assets and liabilities related to Dongfang Hotel to a wholly owned subsidiary. The share price closed at 10.07 yuan on the day, down 1.27%.
