CH reports record July-August 2026 sales, pushing full-year revenue to 2 billion baht

Charoen Utsahakam Public Company Limited, or CH, a producer and distributor of processed fruit and food products, reported that total monthly sales in July and August 2026 hit a record high, driven by its canned fish business, where sales nearly doubled to 200 million baht from 100 million baht. As a result, capacity utilisation rose to 90% from 70%, and gross margin improved, since the canned fish business carries a high gross margin of around 26%. About 90% of the company's canned fish sales come from exports, while sales of its dried fruit group remained flat because it has been unable to import fruit from neighbouring countries, particularly mangoes. Chief Executive Officer Prawit Srisaengnam said the company confirmed that current canned fish stock is still sufficient to meet demand, after flooding caused products on the shelves of leading supermarkets such as Tops to run low or sell out. He expects the canned fish business to reach 400 million baht this year, compared with normal growth of 200 million baht, lifting total revenue in 2026 to 2 billion baht from an earlier target of 1.8 billion baht.
