Atos has received the SAP Sovereign Cloud Partner designation, reinforcing its Digital Sovereignty strategy. The recognition, announced September 16, 2026, applies currently to Germany, France, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, with validation for additional locations underway. Atos said the designation strengthens its position to support regulated organizations in adopting cloud and AI solutions from SAP with full control over data, operations and compliance. Florin Rotar, Chief Technology Officer of Atos Group, said the recognition reinforces Atos' strategy to deliver sovereign digital transformation at scale, while Martin Merz, President Sovereign Cloud at SAP, said working with Atos as a validated partner expands the reach of SAP Sovereign Cloud. Atos, a longstanding SAP platinum partner, was recently awarded the golden certificate from SAP, celebrating 20 consecutive years with SAP Certification for Operations Partners as a certified SAP Global Operations Partner, making it only the second SAP partner with global operations certification to receive the golden certificate.

Atos and Flender China have won the Best Agentic AI Practice award at the IDC China AI Innovation Awards 2026 for their jointly developed Sovereign AI Agent for Engineering R&D. The solution reduced design cycles by 83%, cutting interpretation time from about 30 minutes to 5 minutes, and saves approximately 2,000 engineering hours annually. It combines agentic AI, retrieval-augmented generation, multimodal capabilities, and manufacturing domain knowledge, and is part of Atos's Sovereign Agentic Studio. Atos China's managing director, Yun Rui Feng, said the company is committed to helping organizations achieve measurable outcomes with sovereign and responsible AI.

Atos Group announced a strong first-half 2026 performance, with operating margin at current perimeter rising 43% year-on-year to €190 million, or 5.7% of revenue, and confirmed its full-year targets with organic growth expected at the lower end of the range. Group revenue at current perimeter reached €3,304 million, down 8.9% organically, while second-quarter organic decline eased to 6.3% from 11.3% in the first quarter. The Genesis transformation plan has already achieved 112% of its savings target, and the company completed large divestments of Bull, Ideal GRP, and South American operations, generating €215 million in net cash proceeds. Eviden and Thales have integrated Thales' Galileo PRS capability into Eviden's militarized P3TS satellite navigation receiver used by the French Army. The upgrade enhances geolocation resilience for army vehicles by improving resistance to electronic attacks and spoofing while ensuring data integrity in contested environments. Two options will be available: the TopStar Galileo PRS Core Module providing access to Galileo PRS and open Galileo and GPS signals, and the TopStar Smart Receiver which adds anti-jamming functionality, both featuring an ultra-precise clock for tactical radio synchronization even after GNSS signal loss. The P3TS PRS system increases European strategic autonomy by reducing GPS dependency and meets forces' needs for sovereign, resilient solutions rapidly deployable in theaters where jamming and spoofing risks have intensified.

Atos has launched Atos Sovereign Cloud, a next-generation platform for application orchestration and modernization targeting public administrations, defense bodies, healthcare institutions, critical infrastructure operators, and highly regulated organizations. The platform combines enterprise cloud capabilities with sovereign control mechanisms covering data management, operational autonomy, cyber resilience, and artificial intelligence innovation, all hosted, operated, and contracted within the European Union. It is built on open-source components for portability and flexibility, supports multiple deployment models, and includes a dedicated marketplace for Atos services, trusted partner solutions, and customer repositories. Atos Sovereign Cloud will be available in 2026, offering a European alternative for organizations seeking to modernize without compromising security, compliance, or operational independence. Gartner forecasts that over 50% of multinationals will have defined a digital sovereignty strategy by 2029, up from less than 10% today.

Atos Group has completed the first phase of its refinancing strategy with the voluntary early redemption of the remaining outstanding 1L bonds. This full refinancing of the 1L tranche of its financial debt marks an important milestone in the Group’s strategy to sustainably strengthen its financial structure.

Eviden has integrated its Key Management System with Salesforce Hyperforce and Shield Platform Encryption, introducing a bring your own sovereign encryption model that lets organizations retain exclusive control over their encryption keys. The solution runs on Confidential Virtual Machines and interfaces with Eviden’s Proteccio HSM, the only hardware security module qualified at the highest level by ANSSI, ensuring master keys stay under customer control throughout their lifecycle. This setup allows enterprises and public sector bodies to encrypt critical data with externally managed keys hosted in Europe, supporting compliance with regulations like GDPR while accelerating adoption of Salesforce cloud and AI tools. Eviden is the Atos Group brand for cybersecurity products, mission-critical systems, and vision AI.

Atos has joined CrowdStrike’s Project QuiltWorks, a coalition that combines AI-driven vulnerability discovery and adversary-informed prioritization with remediation services and cyber insurance. The project is powered by the Falcon platform and frontier models from OpenAI and Anthropic. Atos will contribute its expertise in managed security services, cybersecurity governance, and sovereign digital environments, helping clients adopt AI with stronger control over data, infrastructure, and compliance. The partnership builds on eight years of collaboration between Atos and CrowdStrike and aims to extend the coalition’s reach in the European market.
