The company also builds and sells Swedish-style houses, provides insurance brokerage, and offers transportation, warehousing, and recycling services for food containers. It was formerly known as Toyo Wood Products Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Tomoku Co., Ltd. in January 1971. Incorporated in 1940, it is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
