KKR to acquire Medicover India from Medicover AB

KKR has signed definitive agreements to acquire Medicover India, the hospital operations of Medicover AB. Medicover India operates a multi-specialty network of 24 hospitals with approximately 4,800 beds across South and West India, providing care in over 80 clinical specialties with more than 1,900 doctors. KKR said the investment reflects confidence in India's healthcare ecosystem and aligns with the National Health Policy 2017.
